You may choose to become an Associate of Sterling and keep your knowledge current by attending our courses and conferences and reading our technical updates.

Sometimes, though, it is also good to be able to confer with a fellow professional. We offer expert advice and assistance to the accountant in practice on those occasions when:

• time is of the essence
• you are tackling something outside of your usual experience
• you are out of the office and your colleagues need technical support

Our technical development is headed up by Bruce Garnham-Smith. Bruce serves on the National Technical Advisory Committee of the ICAEW and endeavours to represent our Associates' views on developments affecting their practices. What this means for our Associates is that they have a virtual technical department that they can consult with whenever they require.
